March Madness is the time of the year when fans celebrate the college basketball tournament by creating a near to perfect bracket beforehand. History has shown it impossible to break with over 9.2 quintillion possible combinations from sixty-four teams in sixty-three elimination games. Jon Greig mentions, “It just going to show everyone in life that at any given day it can go someone’s way.” The 2023 NCAA March Madness tournament has shown incredible Cinderella teams (lower eight seeds beat two or more top teams) in the 9th seed Florida Atlantic making the Final Four and 15th seed Princeton to the Sweet 16. Coach Tehaar’s favorite part of the game is “how they interacted against each other and how the coaches strategize.” The March Madness tournament brings the best out of Jake Larson from watching “definitely their style of play.” Learning a thing or two from the NCAA tournament would help high school students create their future March Madness stories.
