There are many decorations in the classrooms and many teachers have a purpose for them.-Julia Moudry
Some of it is practicality. A number of the things I use here at teaching tools. For example, Maps. I use those in teaching history quite a bit. Some of them are study tips, and ways students can improve their learning. and, some of them are just kinda ways to brighten up the classroom. -Ann Hewitt.
I decorate my classroom because it’s the place where I spend most of my waking hours during the day, and it’s the place where my students are here as well. It’s meant to inspire, things for them to look at, it’s also teaching tools I can use. Not all of them are teaching tools, but I very much enjoy a decorated classroom. -Anthony Brunt
Teachers are happy to answer questions students have about their decorations.
Oh, all the time. sometimes they will ask about the maps, obviously the pictures of the different places I’ve been in Europe or different places I’ve traveled. A lot of students ask me, Oh, you’ve been to whatever., and that’s always fun to talk about. – Mis Hewitt
I used to have a better habit years ago, where somebody can point out a thing and we can talk about it a little bit. The best curriculum learning that happens is when you’re not following the curriculum. There’s a lot of opportunities up on the wall, and it’s ok to talk about it.-Mr. Brunt
Lots of teachers have been decorating their room for many years.-Julia
I have always. I have always been a person who likes to put a lot of stuff up on the wall. I remember being a student, and being in rooms where, you know sometimes time goes slow. especially for an example, a study hall here or something else, Sting time. You know maybe you don’t have a lot to do, well at least you’ve got some stuff to look at.-Mis. Hewitt
I have always decorated my room. My very first school I worked at, where I had my own room, I did kinda (decorate it) somewhat similar. It’s gotten better over the years. It takes time and effort. But I’ve always been an image person, and I enjoy having images on the walls, and I think students do too. -Mr. Brunt
Decorations are things that have been in the classroom a long time and they continue to bring new light to spectrum, this has been Cayden and Julia, Noise News.
