This year Spectrum performed their 2024 winter band concert to learn more about it we interviewed 2 of the performers. Chloe Sandvig 10th, and Evan Koncsol 12th. Even though band is mostly making music there are still plenty of memories to be made.
“It was either 7th or 8th grade, and old student, he’s not here anymore, but an old student named Sam Tyson hit a drum so hard in the back of the room that the clock on the wall right behind him fell and almost hit him.” Said Koncsol.
“My favorite memory about band is probably hanging out with everyone during prep band and then going to large group, it always supper supper fun.” said Sandvig
Once concern raised by Chloe Sandvig. “I would love if we had like an actual auditorium to perform in I think that’d be a lot better than the gym, all though I do love the gym.”
Lately, One person that really stood out to Evan Koncsol was Ms. Paulin. “Ms. Paulin does a really good job at keeping the students in the loop, and in on decisions. Such as, what songs we do; and keeps it fun.”
Many of Spectrum’s students are very excited for the concert and hope to perform well.
