At Spectrum High School, many students utilize the C@SH and PSEO programs once they reach 10th grade. Both of these programs are awesome, but how do you know what one is best for you?
C@SH classes are college courses taken in person at Spectrum and are taught by a teacher here at Spectrum. Many people like having the teacher in the room because it creates a better learning environment. Mrs. Hewitt said: “You have the support of the high school staff, you have the support staff we have in this building as well as your friends I just think it’s a better environment for creating relationships.” C@SH classes differ from PSEO Classes because PSEO classes are taken asynchronously. Ava Rain said: “There’s more course options and a lot of classes that Spectrum doesn’t offer, PSEO does offer and then you get to work at your own pace.”
In the end, whatever class would work better for you depends on your goals and what you are trying to take from the classes and the experiences.
