Isaac Bengston, a Spectrum alumni, has created a career as a content creator on platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Isaac started going to school at Spectrum in 6th grade, and created a community for himself to grow and thrive in.
Isaac’s sister, Abby Bengston, an 8th grader at Spectrum, said, “He always like puts time into caring about what other people say… He’s so kind and he really cares about people”.

Isaac used the community and resources available to him to grow. In broadcast he was able to meet real-life news reporters who had an impact on the world. And in theater he learned to really step into a role and enjoy himself on the stage.
Isaac Bengston said, “I remember when I was first in theater, I was very nervous and I didn’t, you know, enjoy that. But because I did that for so long, I grew to love it. And so now that’s what I do every day is I put myself on the internet for everyone to see.”
Both of these things allowed him to move forward with his career after high school. He uses the tools he has learned throughout the years, picks up new skills by taking online classes, and watching YouTube videos. He also cares about what his audience would like to see.
Mrs. Pinz, a close family friend said, “He really does take feedback in of his followers and wants to put out content that people are going to enjoy and um also put out content that’s positive.”
He doesn’t have a lot of equipment which may be surprising. But he came from a small beginning and is making a place for himself in the world.

After high school he started college but he decided that he really wanted to put all of his effort into content creation and expanding his skills on his own. After he dropped out of college he had to door dash just to make ends meet. This was a low spot for him, but he continued to put a lot of time and effort into his content and now he lives completely off social media. Isaac wants to show the world that it is possible to do amazing things with just a track pad.
