The colors changing on the trees brings brightness to fall days.

Fall is finally here! Fall is full of fun memories with family and friends, delicious food like pies and warm drinks, as well as exciting activities. What do the students at Spectrum high school think about fall and all it entails?

Mariana Jasso-Hernandez says, “Fall time comes around and that just aura. It makes you want to just sit in the corner with a blanket and just read.”

Danica Orth says, “I think I would describe fall as fall would be colorful and calming. Because I feel it’s less hectic.”

It seems that the students at Spectrum High School really enjoy fall time and think of it as a relaxing time. Most people enjoy how beautiful fall can be with the changing colors of the trees and the atmosphere that it creates. Fall is a cheerful time for many and a chance to enjoy some quality time with family and friends. Holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving give people a chance to gather and spend time together.

Mrs. Hewitt says, “I like Thanksgiving. I like spending time with my family. And just enjoying some of the fun things that can happen that time of year.”

Mariana Jasso-Hernandez says, “So, I kinda do prefer Halloween more because it’s more fun. You get to go run around in the night and hang out with friends.”

These holidays are both important but people like them for different reasons. Fall also presents opportunities for different activities that you don’t get to do other part of the year. People enjoys going to pumpkin patches, going apple picking, carving pumpkins, jumping in leaves, and taking pictures. The Spectrum students and staff like to do many of these things.

Mrs. Hewitt says, “I love going outside and going into nature. I like to do photography. Obviously it’s a great time to be a photographer and go out and look at trees and all of the changing everything.”

Danica Orth says, “We always go to the apple orchard. That’s super fun. I love doing that.”

Obviously the Spectrum staff and students get up to some fun stuff in their free time. Now a major debate around fall time is . . . PUMPKIN SPICE! Some people hate it and some people love it. It is a big discussion and people can have very strong opinions on it. So what do the Spectrum students think of this fall staple.

Mariana Jasso-Hernandez says, “I’m not a huge fan of it but I know that some people really like like like it”

Danica Orth says, “Oh my gosh I love pumpkin spice. Last year I got so much pumpkin spice our whole fridge was full of it, it was awesome.”

There are different opinions on all of these things from pumpkin spice to holidays but I think everyone can agree on one thing, Fall is awesome. So go outside and enjoy this awesome season before it ends.
